Scenario Process - Client List & Contact List - 2. Import and Sync

OVERVIEW:

The CSI Co-ordinator usually does this or checks the spreadsheet before the upload happens.

HOW TO:

Check the following before doing the import:

  1. Review the client & contact list to check headings are all correct

  2. Check rest of document is set up correctly and is a .xslx file

CLIENT LIST IMPORT
  1. Download spreadsheet to your computer as an .xlsx doc
  2. Go to sysadmin client list link: https://creatorapp.zoho.com/100rails/goscaffold/#Report:SysAdmin_Clients_v2
  3. Filter for the company name you are working on
  4. Click on the hamburger menu on the right hand side and click Import
  5. Drag and drop your client file the local storage icon on screen 

  6. Match up your fields with the fields in Scaflog: (see recording for this)
  7. Close that box and then open settings and where it says "On Import Error" to select "Do Not Import Records" 
  8. Close that box and click IMPORT
  9. If it works you can choose to see the data, if you have errors, don't import and view errors
CONTACT LIST IMPORT
  1. Do steps 1-6 from the client list import
  2. Close that box and then open settings and where it says "On Import Error" to select "Skip Corresponding Records"
  3. Close that box and click IMPORT - it will state there are errors and you will need to click IMPORT again.

NOTE: MYOB clients list is imported by the devs once a MYOB connection is made.
